About Me

living barefoot and wide open. // ask me about Jesus. // there’s a million things I haven’t done, but just you wait.

Hailey Hudson is an 18-year-old homeschool grad from the mountains of North Georgia. She’s an author (you can buy her debut children’s novel here), a full-time freelancer (both writing and voiceover work–view her writing portfolio here), and she works for a local nonprofit that tutors underprivileged kids. Despite a chronic vitamin B12 deficiency–a condition that’s very similar to multiple sclerosis–Hailey plays travel softball and enjoys working out. She also loves theater, dance, learning Spanish, and more. With two and a half years of college classes under her belt, Hailey is currently taking a gap year to focus on her writing career and on learning to walk in freedom. She will begin work on her associates degree in either exercise science or sports management in fall 2018. Her future plans are to become an established YA author, expand her freelance writing and voiceover client base as much as possible, and to start a nonprofit that offers underprivileged kids the opportunity to play sports at a lower cost and to hear about Jesus.

Hi Hailey! I just came across your blog and am so excited to be your newest follower!
P.S. I appreciate the fact that you included your house, Ravenclaw, in your bio. I’m a Hufflepuff, Gryffindor wannabe. 🙂

    1. Also it’s really cool that you speak Spanish! My family is from Cuba and Spain. I know a bit of Spanish but I don’t get to practice to much because we’re always moving around and I don’t get to see my extended family too much.

      1. Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by–I checked out your blog too, and really liked it! =) That’s so cool–I can speak and read Spanish pretty well, but I don’t have anybody to practice with, so I don’t really understand it at all 😉

  5. Nice to meet you, Miss Hailey! So excited to find your blog through the comment you left on mine (I love it when that happens!)! It’s such a blessing to find a fellow blogger who is so passionate about sharing Jesus with others! And I can totally relate to the love of travel/homebody thing and the dual enrollment thing 😉 Can’t wait to read more!

    Izzy ❤
