Hi there! I’m Hailey, an 18-year-old homeschool grad from the mountains of North Georgia. I’m an author (you can buy my debut children’s novel here), a full-time freelancer (writing and voiceover work–view my writing portfolio here), and I also work for a local nonprofit that tutors underprivileged kids. I’m obsessed with theater, dance, and music, and I wish I had the time, money, and energy to continue pursuing those things. I also play travel softball and would love to play in college! However, I have a chronic vitamin B12 deficiency (something that’s very similar to multiple sclerosis–it’s like a combo of asthma and mono, and sometimes I can’t walk because of the nerve damage in my legs) that affects pretty much every part of my life. Right now I’m technically a sophomore at Truett McConnell University, but I’m also technically taking a gap year (it’s complicated). After obtaining my degrees in creative writing and exercise science, I want to be an author, write for a magazine, and be a missionary in the US working with kids through sports. More fun facts: I’m an ambivert (a cross between an introvert and an extrovert); I have a small photography business on the side; I love love love to read; my little brother is my best friend; I spend too much time on Pinterest; I speak Spanish (and LOVE the country of Colombia); and I love to travel and have adventures, but I’m also a homebody.
