About Me

teller of stories, dreamer of dreams. // infj, ravenclaw. // living barefoot and wide open. // ask me about Jesus. // there’s a million things I haven’t done, but just you wait.

Hi there! I’m Hailey, an 18-year-old homeschool grad from the mountains of North Georgia. I’m an author (you can buy my debut children’s novel here), a full-time freelancer (writing and voiceover work–view my writing portfolio here), and I also work for a local nonprofit that tutors underprivileged kids. I’m obsessed with theater, dance, and music, and I wish I had the time, money, and energy to continue pursuing those things. I also play travel softball and would love to play in college! However, I have a chronic vitamin B12 deficiency (something that’s very similar to multiple sclerosis–it’s like a combo of asthma and mono, and sometimes I can’t walk because of the nerve damage in my legs) that affects pretty much every part of my life. Right now I’m technically a sophomore at Truett McConnell University, but I’m also technically taking a gap year (it’s complicated). After obtaining my degrees in creative writing and exercise science, I want to be an author, write for a magazine, and be a missionary in the US working with kids through sports. More fun facts: I’m an ambivert (a cross between an introvert and an extrovert); I have a small photography business on the side; I love love love to read; my little brother is my best friend; I spend too much time on Pinterest; I speak Spanish (and LOVE the country of Colombia); and I love to travel and have adventures, but I’m also a homebody. Jump over to my Contact Me page and let’s be friends!

  2. Hi Hailey!
I just found your blog. It looks really awesome! It’s always great to find another Christian teen writer blog! When I read the part about loving traveling but being a homebody I was thinking Yes! Finally someone who is the same! Lol anyway I can’t wait to read more of your blog!

    1. Also it’s really cool that you speak Spanish! My family is from Cuba and Spain. I know a bit of Spanish but I don’t get to practice to much because we’re always moving around and I don’t get to see my extended family too much.

      1. Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by–I checked out your blog too, and really liked it! =) That’s so cool–I can speak and read Spanish pretty well, but I don’t have anybody to practice with, so I don’t really understand it at all 😉

  3. Nice to meet you, Miss Hailey! So excited to find your blog through the comment you left on mine (I love it when that happens!)! It’s such a blessing to find a fellow blogger who is so passionate about sharing Jesus with others! And I can totally relate to the love of travel/homebody thing and the dual enrollment thing 😉 Can’t wait to read more!

    In Christ,
    Izzy ❤
