Blogmas Day 9

Today has been a day of reading Harry Potter, choosing pictures for graduation next spring (!), and then getting sidetracked and texting friends funny old pictures of other mutual friends. It’s been a day of feeling a little sleepy and sick, but working out anyway; a day of letting my seven-year-old layer five coats of silver polish on my fingernails; and not really writing anything (oops). It’s been a day of cleaning my room and complaining about the COLD and listening to Christmas CD’s from the library on the way to dress rehearsal. Dress rehearsal was an evening of laughter, hard work, and anticipation; of figuring out lighting cues, ooh-ing over finished costumes, and nailing down the last little details. It went until 10 PM–I’m exhausted and have a headache, but I’m very excited for the production on Sunday.

Today I’m…

Listening to: Angels We Have Heard on High by the Gardiner Sisters.

Grateful for: I’m grateful the day is over and I get to go to bed now. 🙂

Thank you for the prayers for my friend who was in the ICU yesterday–she’s doing better, but she’s still in the hospital. I just found out I’ll be able to see her tomorrow, so I’m going to end this post and go to bed. 🙂
